This article is really going to be little more than Scriptures connected. I truly believe, as these last days unfold, we are about to see more than we really are prepared to face and the Word of the Almighty, who is Y'hshuwah, is all that will keep us.
Now YHWH had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy
kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name
great; and thou shalt be a blessing: Genesis 12:1-2
As heirs to the promise of Abraham, there are a few things to keep in mind. He set out and let go of the materialism, giving up his right to earthly inheritance. So did the disciples.
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or
mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an
hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Matthew 19:29
We really aren't told what all Noah went through in dealing with the evil that surrounded him, but there is no indication that anyone outside of his three sons and the wives did anything to help.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of YHWH . . . Thus did Noah; according to all that Elohim commanded him, so did he. Genesis 6:8,22
Messiah did tell us, however; that the end of days would be like the days of Noah.
And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of
man. Luke 17:26
Solomon addresses the law in the Proverbs as does James.
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be
abomination. Proverbs 28:9
Before trying to separate hearing from doing, in regard to the law of YHWH, we need to remember the words of James.
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22
Valuable information, indeed; as the end of days continue to unfold.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, says YHWH, and
touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, says El Shaddai. II Corinthians 6:17-18
It was a thought in my head in the last day or two that one of the devil's biggest tricks was to get Christians thinking that God's commands were evil. You mention the law and doing what is contained in it and Christians will argue with you tooth and nail about how the law is evil and invalid, been done away with. How is it that people can call what God says to do evil or wrong?
ReplyDeleteThat is a great, yet very sad question. The Word of our G-d stands forever - Isaiah 40:8 and I Peter 1:25
