I'm going to be honest here, I have a confession to make. I've been hearing some rather disturbing things from YHWH and I don't want to say them. That bothers me, because I don't want to be disobedient, but by that same token, I don't really want to sound like a prophet of doom, either. I've talked to Abba about that and here's where it stands. There is Good news and there is bad news.
First, the bad news. The bad news is, we have mixed holy with profane in nearly every area of our society while calling it blessed, and now so many things have been redefined and accepted that some are finally recognizing the fact that our society calls evil, good and good, evil. We've been heading this way for a very long time, and sadly, the momentum has gained. Actually, although we prefer our American history to read beautifully and blessed, there is really every indication that we have simply been granted a great deal of mercy and YHWH has bestowed upon us, patience.
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest
the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of YHWH? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering;
not knowing that the goodness of YHWH leadeth thee to repentance? Romans 2:3-4
The good news is, there is time to repent. This repentance of which I'm speaking is not about organizing a grassroots movement or lobbying legislators, it's about hearts turning to our Creator on an individual basis. I've been literally heartbroken at all of the "religious compromise" our society calls faith. We choose to look at the big sins of the world, and chastise those religious leaders who avoid using the term sin, but come judgment day, when their names are called, I don't have to get up. What I need to be looking at, is me, in the light of Messiah who is the Word.
While some take a strong stand against abortion or homosexuality; in Who or what do we actually place our faith? In this country, it's very easy to be against something, but standing up for what we actually believe in, is another matter, entirely. We seem to have lost sight of that difference! There are actually people in this country who still believe voting against political parties can bring the needed change. The lesser of two evils is still evil! I can say all day long, I'm against sorcery [pharmaceuticals] and the love of money is the root of all evil, but just being against sin is not true repentance. Repentance involves, not only recognizing sin and turning from it, but turning to YHWH on His terms which is complete faith, through Messiah Y'hshuwah.
Part of the strong delusion is having the truth and not applying it to our lives. The Revelation 21 and 22 has a pretty eye opening list of those who will have the same judgment. We must lay our hearts open before Adonai, in the light of His Word and be willing to set aside every idol in our lives. I know we have them, or we'd be seeing the power of El Shaddai more manifest in our lives.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do
wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall
understand. Daniel 12:10 tells us . . . the people of Elohim are not going to stop the wickedness, but we, the people of Elohim can be purified.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness,
than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto
them. II Peter 2:21
